The last few years have been a golden period for cement manufacturers, when the Ggovernment of Pakistan increased spending on infrastructure development. High commercial activity and rising demand for housing on account of higher per capita income has kept cement offtake growth in double digits.
Tiger Cement Company was established in year 2003 in Karachi Export Processing Zone, just 12 KMs from the Port Qasim which possess design capacity of 0.36 millions TEUs per annum and is capable of handling vessels up to 272 meters in length.
Tiger Cement Company is wholly owned subsidiary of H.Y. Group of Companies, consortium of leading international trading and manufacruing companies. Having strong presence and subsidiary worldwide including Middle East, Far East, South East Asia, African Countires, Europe, UK, USA and Canada.
Tiger Cement Company was initially authorized USD26 Million from H.Y. Group of Companies and other leading Banks of Pakistan to setup its own production line of 5000 Metric Tons per day, focusing mainly on exports of Cement.
Later Cement from Pakistan was in huge demand in Asia, India, Middle East and Africa, whereas particularly supply deficit in India and China geared up export opportunities for Tiger Cement Company of Pakistan.
The demand of Pakistan origin cement will was supported by closing down of some cement units in Europe due to their strict laws governing pollution control and other environment hazards.
Today, Tiger Cement is the leading Certified ISO 9001-2008 manufacturer and exporter of Ordinary Portland Cement Grade 42.5 and Grade 52.5, Sulphate Resistant Cement, Portland Blast Furnace Slag Cement, Oil Well Cement and other Cement Products. We accomply several standards including Pakistan Standard PS – 232/1983; British Standard BS –12 – 1996 ; and American Standard ASTM C-150 Type I; South African Board of Standards (SABS), Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
We are exporting monthly volumes of around 50,000 Metric Tons per month to several destinations. We don't beleive in doing huge volumes, we beleive in customer satisfaction.
